“We continue to focus on the health of our employees and follow city government assistance,” an Amazon representative said in a declaration. “Workers with work that can effectively be done from the house can continue to do that work from home through June 30, 2021.”

News of the extended work from house policy was first reported by Bloomberg.

Amazon follows in the footsteps of several tech businesses that have extended their work from house policies up until a minimum of early 2021, including Apple, Facebook, and Uber. Twitter has permitted staff members to work from house “forever” if they wish.

The relocation presses out the timeline for a return to work for Amazon’s business workers, who’ve been working from home considering that March. The business previously stated that staff members might work from the house till January.
